Great Kids Group: Expressive Arts for Kids (Ages 8-11)

Nebraska Expressive Arts Therapy Foundation (NEXT) is now taking referrals for Fall of 2025
Expressive Arts groups for children (Ages 8-11)!
The group will take place over eight sessions and will help our kids, ages 8-11, express themselves creatively alongside other youth while exploring issues such as social skills, anxiety, and self image. These topics will be addressed using various creative art processes such as clay work, collage, drawing, music, and painting. The group includes all art materials and a free art journal! No previous art experience required.
Multiple group sessions will be offered based on age group. There is an older teen group as well, so please glance at our programming if you have a teen artist in mind!
* There are some transitional ages that can be placed appropriately with a group (Children at age 12, for example).
Fee: Due to available funding through our non profit, we are able to offer scholarships for these groups! Insurance (Medicaid and BCBS) can be billed if available to offset costs, and a $10 supplest fee donation per group will be appreciated, but is not mandatory.
Dates: Groups will take place on Saturdays, twice per month from September 20th through December 20th. 11:30-12:45 pm
